vAfter four years of work on rapid reconfiguration as a route to resilient manufacturing, R3GROUP is holding its final event at the European Manufacturing Conference 2026 / 4th Manufacturing Partnership Days, organised by EFFRA, EIT Manufacturing and ManuFuture. The event takes place on 17–18 November 2026 at SILO, Brussels.
From five pilot factories to solutions ready for industry
Manufacturers face constant change: scaling production up or down, switching suppliers and materials, handling more product variants and reacting to unexpected events. R3GROUP has developed technologies that help companies reconfigure faster, more affordably and with less risk:
- digital twins for stamping dies, laser-based processes, copper tubes and injection moulding;
- in-line quality assurance modules;
- real-time planning and decision-making tools;
- a supply chain digital twin.
All of them have been validated in five pilot factories across Europe: Gorenje, Halcor, Katty Fashion, GLN Plast and Gestamp. Together they cover sectors from household appliances and automotive to copper, plastics and fashion.

R3GROUP Final Workshop
This interactive workshop is an opportunity to get acquainted with the R3GROUP solutions and to work together on finding funding routes and shaping collaborative ideas for reconfigurable manufacturing. Building on the results of the project, participants will explore public and private funding opportunities in reconfigurable manufacturing, AI and circularity, and develop ideas in small groups.
The workshop is open to everyone working on these topics, including SMEs and industry, research centres, universities, clusters and Digital Innovation Hubs, whether or not they have been involved in R3GROUP.
