IPC — Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites recently welcomed Marie Cabaret, Yoann Eulalie, Omer Sedes and Soukaina Lahrach from OPMobility to present the digital solutions developed within R3GROUP for resilience and efficiency in plastic manufacturing.

The demonstration, built around the R3GROUP 4.0 injection cell, showcased three of the project’s core technologies in action:

  • AAS data submodels for the plastics industry — enabling a true digital thread across the manufacturing process.
  • Process Digital Twin — reducing ramp-up time and bridging the gap between simulation and the shop floor.
  • High-frequency AI models — enabling early detection of quality deviations and rapid correction.

The visit sparked a productive discussion around how these tools can support reconfigurability and resilience in real production environments, with OPMobility bringing valuable industry perspective to the exchange.

R3GROUP would like to thank OPMobility for the quality of the discussion, and the IPC — Centre Technique Industriel de la Plasturgie et des Composites R3GROUP team — Sabine Belle, Philippe Fanni, Thomas Guillet, Xavier Grand-Perret, Tjerk Timan and Guillaume Ducloud — for a successful demo.
